“While removing a brick hearth from our lounge, we rolled back a few inches of carpet to discover a wooden parquet floor. It seemed to have been stained an unacttractive yellowish colour at some point and was so worn and shabby inplaces that I almost decided to just cover it back up. Luckily, I contacted Lee instead. Although very busy, he agreed to come around that weekend and assured me that he could bring the floor back to life. Lee also offered to tidy up the hearth, removing old sunken bricks, levelling and painting the floor. I can only describe the finished result as ‘WOW!’. I can hardly believe it is the same wooden floor. Now we can see the beauty of the oak. It is gorgeous.”
